Sarah Bryant was admitted as a solicitor in 1997. For most of her career she has worked as a Legal Adviser in the Magistrates Court and in particular within the Family Proceedings Court. This has given her an excellent insight into the full range of family law that magistrates deal with and enables her to advise clients accordingly. Prior to joining Jackson West, Sarah worked for a Local Authority in respect of public law matters for over a year. She therefore practices in the fields of childcare law and public and private law contact and residence applications.
Gillian is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, admitted in 1998. With a background in languages and nursing, she joined the legal profession in her early thirties and has worked exclusively in family law for over 15 years, interrupted by a brief spell working for the Law Society. She specialises in ancillary relief matters and has acted in cases in the family courts, the High Court and the Court of Appeal. As well as running her own caseload, she specialises in preparing the practice’s ancillary relief matters for court, instructing Counsel and attending hearings. Her attention to detail has earned her frequent congratulations from both counsel and judges on the preparation of trial bundles and familiarity with the papers. Gillian's hobbies include tap dancing and dog walking.
