Protection from Domestic Abuse / Injunctions

We are able to represent clients who require help in obtaining an injunction to protect them from domestic abuse from a partner or family member. We also represent clients who are defending such an application.

Victims of domestic abuse are often eligible for legal aid in order to bring an application before the Court. We can advise as to legal aid eligibility and assist in making a legal aid application.

We can bring an application before the Court as an emergency if required and take steps to bring the injunction to the attention of the police. Breach of a ‘Non-Molestation Order’ is an arrestable offence meaning that if such an injunction is in place immediate police action can be taken if it is breached.

Mark Eyles is a Resolution accredited specialist in cases involving domestic abuse. Please do not hesitate to call for a free confidential chat.
